The Divine Dawn of Benevolence — Shah Mastana Ji’s Glorious 134th Incarnation Day

The Divine Dawn of Benevolence — Shah Mastana Ji’s Glorious 134th Incarnation Day

The Celestial Beginnings: Divinity arrived on the Earth

On the sacred Kartik Poornima of 1891, such a divine persona, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, incarnated in Kotra, Tehsil Gandhey, Kalat (now in Balochistan), to revered parents Shri Pillamal Ji and Mata Tulsa Bai Ji. His Holiness was given the birth name Shri Khemamal Ji.

From Devotion to Divine Destiny: The Journey of Shah Mastana Ji and Birth of Dera Sacha Sauda

From childhood, His Holiness was deeply spiritual; His divine virtues set Him apart from other children of His age. His quest to realize the Creator — the Supreme Almighty — and to experience divine bliss culminated in His sacred meeting with revered Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj.

His boundless devotion and infinite love for His Guru reached divine heights. Lost in divine ecstasy, He would dance joyfully in His Holy Master’s presence. Pleased by His sincerity and devotion, Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj blessed Him with the name “Shah Mastana” and commanded Him to go to the Bagad region for the emancipation of souls.

In April 1948, accompanied by a few devoted disciples, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj established ‘Dera Sacha Sauda’ on the outskirts of Sirsa — then a small mud hutment.

Thus began a saga of divine human welfare that continues to this day.

Through hard work, and by selling sticks and dung cakes as fuel, the early devotees earned their living. Gradually, the Dera expanded, shaping it into the magnificent spiritual center it has become today.

Divine Voice that Touched Countless Souls and Revived Humanity

Saints incarnate with a divine purpose — their thoughts and deeds align with God’s will. They are the instruments through which the Lord Himself executes His plans.

Despite being the King of Divinity, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj led an exceedingly simple life. He wore patched robes, ate sparingly, and meditated for hours on end.

His language — a blend of Sindhi, Multani, and Hindi — was unfamiliar to the people of the Bagad region. Yet, they were drawn to His divine magnetism, flocking to catch a glimpse of His radiant face and hear His soul-soothing words. This was in fulfilment of the blessing bestowed by Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj, who proclaimed:

“Mastana Shah, your voice will be the Voice of the Lord. Whoever hears your divine words shall be captivated.”

Divine Wisdom that Enlightened Hearts and Inspired Social Change

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj preached the virtues of hard work, truth, and selfless love. He taught people to refrain from corruption, dishonesty, and harm to others. Traveling from village to village, He conducted holy Satsangs (spiritual congregations), awakening the masses to divine love and bestowing the Method of Meditation (Naam Shabad). Through this sacred initiation, souls were liberated from the endless cycle of birth and death across 8.4 million life forms and led toward ultimate salvation.

The divine practice of meditation empowered people to overcome anger, ego, lust, greed, attachment, and other vices.

Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj laid down the foundational tenets that Dera Sacha Sauda’s devotees uphold worldwide:
— Refrain from drugs, alcohol, and smoking
— Refrain from consuming non-vegetarian food
— Be faithful and sincere in relationships

In a society marred by superstition, religious divisions, and social evils, Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj sowed the seeds of harmony and brotherhood. He eradicated darkness through the light of truth, compassion, and humility — teaching that all religions ultimately lead to the same Almighty.

Dera Sacha Sauda – The Ever-blossoming Gift of Shah Mastana Ji to Humanity

The seeds sown by Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj have now grown into a vast, ever-blooming tree — Dera Sacha Sauda — whose branches, flowers, and fruits continue to benefit the entire world.

In April 1960, the divine flame of Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj assumed a new form — Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj, the second Spiritual Master of Dera Sacha Sauda. Then, in September 1990, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj bestowed the divine spiritual treasures upon Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, declaring Him the royal successor and third Spiritual Master — thus completing the holy trinity of ‘MSG’.

Under the supreme guidance of Saint Dr. MSG, and with the timeless benevolence of Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj and Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj, Dera Sacha Sauda today stands as a global beacon of humanitarian service. His Holiness’ vision and initiatives have not only transformed hearts but also catalyzed vast social reforms, uplifting millions worldwide.

From 1948 to the present day, Dera Sacha Sauda’s motto remains unchanged — “Selfless Service of Humanity.”

Whether eradicating drugs, uplifting youth, rescuing the distressed, aiding animals, empowering women, or conserving nature — Dera Sacha Sauda continues its divine mission with patriotism, compassion, and faith, keeping the nation’s welfare and well-being at its heart.
